Permutation Brown Rug made The sides and back ofPermutation Brown Rug by William Scott for Christopher Farr. The Permutation Brown rug has been adapted from an original painting by William Scott, an acclaimed Scottish painter best known for his still life and abstract work. The original design is part of a series of paintings that depict quotidian domestic kitchenware as a reduction of their original forms. The simple, flat shapes float on simple backgrounds, separated by generous space.
